On Wednesday, January 18, 2006, around 7:45 p.m., West Milford Fire Company 1 and 4, along with the West Milford First Aid Squad, were dispatched to a report of a rollover with entrapment, on Macopin Road.

The vehicle was traveling north on Macopin Road when it lost control on ice from earlier rains.

There was one passenger in the vehicle at the time of the crash (a woman) who was extricated by firefighters, treated by EMS, and then transported to Chilton Memorial Hospital.
