MVA Otterhole Rd. 5-27-06
On Saturday May 27, 2006 at about 2:10 pm, West Milford Fire Companies 4, 1 and 6 responded to a vehicle into a house with entrapment on Otterhole Rd.
The Ford Explorer shown in the pictures was traveling north on Otterhole Rd. when it was cut off by another vehicle. The driver of the Explorer swerved to avoid a collision and ran off the road crashing through a wooden guard-rail and a chain link fence, continuing off a 8-10 foot high retaining wall crashing into the side of a two story single family
home.
There was no entrapment and no injuries to the driver or anyone from inside the home, the driver just needed assistance climbing down out of the vehicle.Also assisting at the scene was The West Milford First Aid Squad and the West Milford Police Department.
