35 Olcott Rd. 1-16-05
At approximately 10 pm on Sunday January 16, 2005 West Milford Fire Companies 3, 6 and 5 were dispatched to a fully involved structure on Olcott Road in the Hewitt section of West Milford Township. Chief 3 was the first to arrive on scene and reported a working fire, at that time he also reported that the fire was extending to a second home next door. Chief 3 requested additional Tankers from West Milford Companies 4, 1 and Greenwood Lake NY and also requested a RIT Team from Ringwood. The second home quickly became fully involved as well, with minor damage to a third home.
